more-inSri Lankan Navy on Monday arrested four fishermen of Arukattuthurai near Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam district on charge of poaching in the island nation’s waters. The fishermen had ventured into the sea in a boat owned by Kabilan (49). Besides Kabilan, Devadoss (60) of Arukattuthurai, Ramasamy (50) of Thethakudi and Govidasamy (55) of Kovilpathu were on board the vessel. A Lankan naval ship intercepted their boat and took them into custody. They were taken to Kangesanthurai for an inquiry, sources said.
