Sri Lanka’s Economic Summit rescheduled to Jan. 2025NewsThe Ceylon Chamber of Commerce said on Tuesday its flagship event, the Sri Lanka Economic Summit, originally scheduled for November 2024, has been rescheduled to January 28 and 29, 2025, owing to the forthcoming General Election on November 14. Under the theme 'Shaping Sri Lanka's Future: Transformational Growth Rooted in Sound Economic Policies,' the Summit will provide an essential platform for discussing the path forward at a time when Sri Lanka’s economic and political landscape has had significant changes. After two years of economic contraction, the country is now striving for accelerated growth. “As the nation navigates this critical period, understanding the key drivers of economic stability is essential for informed decision-making. The insights and understandings gained from the Summit will equip participants to actively engage in and contribute to vital conversations about Sri Lanka’s future, and we encourage all stakeholders to participate,” the chamber said.
