Spy agency tweets taunt at China, CNN reports

CNN is reporting that a United States spy agency has apologized for an apparent jab directed at China via Twitter over President Barack Obama's arrival in China on Saturday (Sept. 3), which began with a shouting match between White House and Chinese officials over American journalists in the country. The officials disputed twice, CNN says: once on the tarmac just after Air Force One landed in China, and once at a hotel where a discussion on climate change was held. Commenting on the incidents, the Defense Intelligence Agency on Saturday tweeted "Classy as always China" above a link to a New York Times story on the shouting incidents. The agency has since deleted the tweet and apologized. — DIA (@DefenseIntel) September 4, 2016See the deleted tweet and read the full story from CNN here.
