A former Tottenham Hotspur player has been awarded damages believed to be worth £7 million after he suffered a cardiac arrest on his debut ten years ago and was left with brain damage. Radwan Hamed collapsed during a youth team match in Belgium, against Cercle Bruges, on August 4, 2006 and suffered oxygen starvation to his brain.
