On Friday, Jurgen Klopp made the shock announcement that he would be stepping down as manager at the end of the season citing a lack of energy as the reason. Already the rumour mill has gone into overdrive speculating on who might succeed Klopp in the Liverpool hotseat. Postecoglou is another manager who is likely to have admirers at Liverpool, though football.london are reporting that Spurs fans have no reason to fear losing their manager. Although the Aussie was a big Liverpool fan growing up, he is happy and settled in north London and has little desire to begin a new challenge. Liverpool was my team, but you grow up, things change.
