Spurs failed to qualify from the Champions League group stage and exited in the first knock out round of the Europa League. Fast forward two seasons and you find that Spurs reached the Champions League final with a very different approach. By last season Spurs were not pressing nearly as much or with the same energy and it showed in their results. Over the second half of the 2018/19 season Spurs collected just 26 points versus the 45 points from their first 19 games. After the international break Spurs are at home in the Premier League to bottom of the table Watford on October 19.
