Spruce Meadows Notebook: Lamaze an inspiration at the National, Walker is one to watch, Luck of the Irish
Eric Lamaze has been the story at this year’s Spruce Meadows National. He viewed the start of the Spruce Meadows’ summer season as a comeback — and it certainly was impressive. Walker had a decent showing at this week’s Spruce Meadows National — her best result coming in Saturday’s RBC Grand Prix where she finished fifth aboard Falco Van Spieveld and only had four jumping faults. So, why wouldn’t she be considered for the Pan American Games team? Win or lose, Canadian team or not, Walker is in impressive company.
