A Spring Hill prison guard is no longer considered to have Covid-19 despite having tested positive on Sunday. The prison guard returned a positive result on Sunday evening, after being told they had visited a location of interest in Auckland. The person had no symptoms and was fully vaccinated, but had also been working at the prison before being tested. This is delivered through smart card holders, to assist with contact tracing within prison sites across the country for staff, contractors and visitors.
