Calcutta: Not even three months have passed since India played their last Test match against Sri Lanka and now it's time for another one. Too much of anything kills interest and seriousness, more so in cricket which has a limited horizon. The others too sweated it out at the sun-bathed Eden under the watchful eyes of head coach Ravi Shastri. There are two more days to go for the Test and much of the grass from the pitch is likely to be removed. Later, some of the Indians, including coach Shastri, too inspected the pitch.
