SportPesa Foundation has donated Sh3.4 million to two health facilities in Meru county as part of its maternal health support. Mikinduri Subcounty Hospital received 10 maternity ward beds and two incubators on Saturday, while Ankamia Dispensary received five maternal ward beds and 10 maternity packs. SportPesa Foundation will also fund the construction of a new maternity ward at the dispensary. Five months ago, SportPesa Foundation launched its maternal health support and to date, it has made donations to hospitals in five counties—Bomet, Nairobi, Kiambu, Tharaka Nithi and Meru. Other beneficiaries include Rironi Health Centre, Lunga Lunga Health Centre, Riruta Health Centre, Ndarawetta Dispensary and PCEA Chogoria Mission Hospital.
