Sport enthusiasts have welcomed the reopening of numerous facilities today, but said they would still be cautious about the spread of the new coronavirus that has infected dozens so far, RTHK reports. The Leisure and Cultural Services Department has reopened most sports centers, major libraries and museums, which had been closed since late January. Indoor leisure venues such as badminton courts, squash courts, and table tennis facilities are now open again, but changing rooms, showers, and spectator stands remain closed. People going into sports centers face temperature checks and the authorities also say they have stepped up the cleaning of the venues. Another measure taken by officials is to only open every other indoor court, to help keep people apart.
