Split reviews for MP who attended anti-vaccine mandate protest

A southeastern Manitoba MP has been praised by some constituents and harshly criticized by others after he attended an anti-vaccine mandate protest near the U.S border on Monday. Protest organizer Rick Wall, who runs a trucking company in the Winkler area, called Falk “brave” for showing up at the protest. “It was 100% bravery on his part,” Wall said while speaking to the Winnipeg Sun one day after the protest took place. Wall also said he believes that any health orders that mandate vaccinations are “discriminatory.”“Mandates open the door for discrimination,” Wall said. “The Manitoba Trucking Association appreciates that vaccinations are an important tool in the fight against COVID-19, and as such, supports the vaccine mandate,” MTA said in the statement.
