A spike in Covid-19 cases led to the closure of schools in the small town of Paramythia in Thesprotia (Epirus region) on Monday, in a bid to contain the spread of the novel virus. It is unknown how the two sisters became infected. Greece registered 21 new coronavirus cases and no fatalities since Saturday, EODY also reported on Monday. The total number of cases is 3,287, of whom 54.9% are men. Of the total, 725 are people who were infected abroad and 1,836 were infected by already known cases.
