A private sector bank of India spent Rs 945.31 crore in the financial year 2023-24 while fulfilling its social obligations. The bank spent this amount under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The special thing is that this amount is about Rs 125 crore more than the financial year 2022-23. This bank, which spent Rs 945 crore on CSR in a year, is the largest in India with a market cap of more than Rs 1200000 crore. According to the annual report, various initiatives of ‘Parivartan’ have impacted nearly 10000 households, reaching 9000 villages.
