A council has been left-red faced after it misspelled Gaelic place names on road signs on a large Scottish island. Argyll and Bute Council made the Gaelic spelling mistakes on the Isle of Mull. Now the Mull Community Council is compiling a list of the mistakes for the local authority to have them corrected, reports Rita Campbell. John Maughan of Mull Community Council said they contacted Argyll and Bute Council, which agreed the signs would be replaced.
