Speedway star Tobias Thomsen has been left with horrific injuries after a dreadful crash on Friday evening. The 31-year-old Danish rider has now been pictured in his hospital bed after sustaining a broken femur, broken ribs, a punctured lung and small brain haemorrhage. Thomsen was hit from behind in the crash and says he has no ill will towards his opponent. On Facebook, Thomsen gave fans an update, writing: 'Little update here from Poole Hospital. I have broken my femur and have had a titanium bar inserted from the knee up to the hip to stabilize it.
