Hump Ridge TrackThe beginning of the track is at the end of Papatotara Coast Road, 27km from Tuatapere. TakaheThe Murchison Mountains, between the South and Middle Fiords of Lake Te Anau, are the last mainland bastion of the rare takahe (Porphyrio hochstetteri).
