Special police op nets in 2051 suspects islandwide View(s):A four-hour special police operation launched island-wide resulted in the arrest of 2051 suspects, police said yesterday. They said 1329 of the suspects already had warrants out for their arrest. A further 151 suspects had been wanted in connection with various crimes while 571 were arrested on suspicion. on Friday to 3 a.m. yesterday covered all police stations in the country. Police said such island-wide operations will continue under the direction of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), in order to prevent crimes.
