On the other hand, he said the special package offers multiple benefits to the industries adding the TDP government in the State headed by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was exerting pressure on the Centre for sanction of legal status to the special package announced for AP. He said once legal status was accorded, AP would get incentives on the lines of benefits given to Himachal Pradesh and Uttakhand. The availability of land, labour and power at a reasonable rate was bringing more investors to AP, he said. Mr. Jayadev said that Visakhapatnam, because of its infrastructure, had remained the topmost place for investments followed by the Chittoor-Nellore region.
