He said the era of guns were over and that education was the means by which nations, towns and communities attained development. Professor Oquaye said this when the new Paramount Chief of the Navrongo Traditional Area, Pe Asagepari II, accompanied by members of the Navrongo Traditional Council, called on him at Parliament House. He, therefore, urged the new Paramount Chief to ensure peace and stability in his traditional area to make his people proud. He said the Navrongo Traditional Council was deeply touched by the support from the Speaker and Leadership of the House.
