Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a has asked Cord politicians to stop blackmailing Jubilee under the veil of disbanding the IEBC, and instead respect the constitution. She spoke at Thika Girls Karibaribi Secondary School in her constituency on Friday, commissioning a dormitory constructed through the CDF. The legislator said while demonstrations are enshrined in the constitution, the protests should not interfere with the day-to-day lives of Kenyans or lead to the destruction of their property. The MP also accused the opposition of issuing threats and ultimatums to the government and questioned whether they were serious over the overhaul of the electoral agency or they were just playing games.
