The Guangdong province notified that an Autonomous University of Madrid student, who flew on Cathay Pacific CX320 flight to Hong Kong on Saturday evening, has been tested positive for the new coronaivirus yesterday, said Communicable Disease Branch head of the Centre for Health Protection, Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan. The student took a taxi from the Hong Kong International Airport to Shenzhen Bay Port at 8:20pm on Saturday and he was asymptomatic. Chuang urged crew members and passengers on the flight to contact the CHP. Also, the CHP received information from Thailand that an infected man who flew to Hong Kong to visit family on February 29 felt unwell on March 3 and not March 2. Chuang said because of the new information, some close contacts will be released.
