The pressure is on Italy to recover from last year’s embarrassing failure to not reach the World Cup. Also in Group F, Sweden beat Romania 2-1 thanks to goals by Robin Quaison and Viktor Claesson. Three-time champion Spain is the favourite to win the qualifying group.
