SpaceX is set to blast 10 satellites into orbit on one of its Falcon 9 rockets Saturday in its first launch since a September explosion. The launch is scheduled for 9:54 a.m. Pacific time from Vandenberg Air Force Base, north of Santa Barbara. As in past launches, SpaceX also will attempt to land its first-stage booster on a floating platform in the ocean. The vessels store cold helium that maintains pressure in the liquid oxygen tank. A few weeks after the explosion, SpaceX said it expected to return to flight as soon as November.
