A 51-year-old southwestern Ontario man is dead following a snowmobile crash on New Year's Eve. Oxford County OPP and area emergency crews were called to a wooded area along Baseline road, east of Tillsonburg, at about 8 p.m. on Sunday. OPP said they responded to a collision involving one snowmobile. Todd Smith, 51, of South West Oxford was pronounced dead at the site of the crash. Police temporarily shut down Baseline Road between New Road and Wendy's Road as a result of the incident.
