ORLANDO, Fla. — A Southwest Boeing 737 Max 8 made an emergency landing Tuesday afternoon in Orlando. According to the FAA, the crew of Southwest Airlines Flight 8701 declared an emergency after the aircraft experienced a reported engine problem while departing Orlando International Airport. There were only two pilots on board because the aircraft was being ferried to Victorville, California for storage. It came less than five months after 189 people died in the October crash of another Max 8 off the coast of Indonesia. A FAA source told ABC News that today's emergency landing is unrelated to the issues with the anti-stall system known as MCAS.
