Ice-cold Southland woodcutter Bobby Dowling has fulfilled a lifelong dream by winning a world title at the Sydney Royal Easter Show - the most prestigious timbersports event of them all. Victory in the single handed sawing event was his second world title in two months, and now he's eyeing a third in July to become the undisputed king of the sawing world. The victory in the hardwood single handed sawing event in Sydney follows his world title victory in the mediumwood [pine] single handed sawing event at Rotorua in January. Now he wants the softwood world title to complete the set, "so there's no arguments about it".
