The frustration was obvious in Southland Stags captain Tony Lamborn’s voice as he did a bit of reflecting on Sunday afternoon. The Stags had just dropped its second straight game to start the National Provincial Championship competition. Just like against Otago, the Stags were well within the contest midway through the second half. It trailed Bay of Plenty just 17-11 with just 13 minutes to play only for it to all come unstuck. Lamborn said they need to be spot on with the preparation for what has fast become an important game for the Stags.
