Leaders of youth organisations, civil society groups, trade unions, religious groups, political and non political organizations in the Seventeen Southern states of Nigeria, under the aegis of the Southern Youth Leaders Forum on Wednesday in Ibadan, rose to endorse the decision of the Nigerian Army to launch what it described as “Operation Safe Conduct for the 2019 elections”. “May we remind Nigerians that the interests around the forthcoming general elections are massive and we are all witnesses to the desperation of some politicians to hijack power by all means. If the body languages of these politicians are anything to go by, then we must appreciate the need for adequate security for our citizens. The group said Nigerians are appreciative Of Buhari’s untiring commitment to the war against corruption and the restoration of Nigeria’s lost glory. It urged Nigerians, particularly the youth, to massively reelect President Buhari come February 16, 2019, as President.
