NewsSouthern Provincial Council Member M.K. Kasun and his wife, who were arrested for allegedly attacking a private bus driver in Thalangama, Battaramulla, were further remanded till March 27 by the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court today (13). The duo were arrested on March 9 by police. The alleged assault was caught on video, which showed Mr Kasun's wife brandishing a pistol at the victim and onlookers. Police also recovered the pistol and five rounds of live ammunition from Mr Kasun's wife when they made the arrest.
