South Sudan President Visiting Ethiopia this WeekFebruary 22, 2017 - South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardit is expected to arrive in Addis Ababa on Thursday for a three-day official visit, according to ENA. The President is visiting Ethiopia upon the invitation from Prime Minister Hailemariam Deasalegn. Upon his visit to Juba last October, Prime Minister Hailemariam and President Kiir had concluded various cooperation agreements. The two sides had agreed to partner in trade and investment, peace and security as well as infrastructure, among others. President Kiir's visit is expected to further boost the bilateral ties between the two countries.
