A certain Somerset postcode has been named one of the coolest places to move to in the UK, according to The Times list 2022. Categorised as “for the cool country set”, the newspaper announced the TA13 postcode – otherwise known as South Petherton – among the trendiest places to be in the country. The report said: “Bruton has boiled over and the more stylish members of the posh-welly brigade have migrated half an hour down the road to South Petherton.” Also mentioning its tiny population of around 4,500 residents. Although quite frankly, if you’re concerned about things being “too rural” South Somerset is probably not the place for you. If that’s all a bit too, well, rural, don’t panic: the fashion crowd’s favourite escape pod, the Newt, is only 25 minutes away.
