Kim Kwang Dong, director of the FBC, a major shareholder of Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Television network from South Korea, said that Korean TV programmes or series have generated a lot of interest and become a part of Thai broadcasting. “In the future, we are also prepared to receive content from Thailand to broadcast in Korea,” he said. The topics covered included the conversion of digital television due to the influence of Internet on broadcasting, as well as exchange of broadcast content between Thailand and South Korea. The seminar was told about the possible broadcast of Thai content in South Korea. Kim said that South Korea could help Thailand cope with the difficulty in the transition from analog to digital by exchanging broadcast content.
