South Korean ambassador to Libya says Korean firms to return after security assurances


The deputy head of the Presidential Council (PC), Ahmed Mitig, discussed with the South Korean ambassador to Libya the possible steps that can lead to allowing S.Korean companies back to work in Libya to finish the contracted projects. The two officials also discussed the reopening of the S.Korean embassy in Tripoli in the coming months. "Once the security assurances are given and the safe environment is found for the resumption of projects, our companies will come back. The S.Korean ambassador said, pointing out to the training programs his country is doing in accordance with Libya Labor Ministry. Mitig told the ambassador that Libya wants to make use of the S.Korean expertise in different technological areas, such as banking, customs, medical supplies and other fields.
