Nobody had invested more in a successful summit meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un than Moon Jae-in, the president of South Korea. So it was true to form when, after Mr. Trump said on Thursday that he was canceling the June 12 summit, Mr. Moon said his sincerity hadn’t flagged and vowed to continue to pursue dialogue.
