South Canterbury Heartland side secure home semi-final

A superb second half against Thames Valley saw the South Canterbury Heartland rugby side seal a home Meads Cup semi-final. Fetu had Alpine Energy Stadium named in honour of his 101st outing for the side, which was a first for South Canterbury. South Canterbury have to thank the accurate boot of halfback Willie Wright for their comeback win on Saturday. South Canterbury coach Barry Matthews praised Wright's ability under pressure. It took South Canterbury 20 minutes to get into the Swamp Foxes' half as they were starved of the ball.
