South African youngster follows Percy Tau to make Premier League debut in Leicester win

Midfielder Thakgalo Leshabela became the second South African alongside Percy Tau to make his Premier League debut this season as Leicester City outclassed Sheffield United 5-0 at the King Power Stadium. At 21 years and 174 days old Leshabela became the latest South African to feature in the Premier League after Bafana Bafana star was recalled by Brighton & Hove Albion in January. A hat-trick by Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho and goals by Ayoze Perez and an own goal by Ethan Ampadu sealed a comfortable 5-0 win for the Foxes. It was the first game for Sheffield United since the sacking of manager Chris Wilder with the Blades failing to get the wanted reaction from a squad rooted to the bottom of the table. Having missed out on Bafana Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki's latest Bafana Bafana squad for the March international window the young midfielder will be hoping to feature for the senior squad in the near future.
