Nightwatchman Kagiso Rabada frustrated India's pace attack on a seaming wicket to help South Africa to 81 for three at lunch on day two of the third and final test at The Wanderers in Johannesburg on Thursday. Opener Dean Elgar (4) was the other batsman out in the morning session after South Africa had resumed on six for one. Both Rabada and Amla lived dangerously after that against a ball that was jagging in both directions as cracks on the pitch opened up in the Highveld sun. India had been dismissed for 187 on the opening day, a score batsman Cheteshwar Pujara (50) felt would have been worth 300 on a less seam-friendly surface. South Africa won the opening two tests in Cape Town and Pretoria.
