Canada finished on 156-8, Navneet Dhaliwal falling in the last over for 64 off 49, his second T20 World Cup half-century. Scotland lost to Italy in the World Cup qualifiers, but replaced Bangladesh just two weeks before the World Cup and lost to the West Indies at the same venue in their first game.
