MANILA, Philippines — At least three Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) officials have supposedly resigned from their posts out of disgust with widespread corruption issues within the agency. According to a source, the corruption allegations were revealed during an online meeting among PhilHealth officials on early Thursday evening. ADVERTISEMENT“Earlier this evening, sa Zoom meeting ng PhilHealth, nagkabistuhan ng corruption, nagkasigawan! As of now 3 officers resigned because of disgust,” the source said. The official also noted that his salary has not been given on time since he investigated PhilHealth officers allegedly involved in corruption.
