Former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly received a threat letter on January 5, however the incident came to light on Monday. Ganguly confirmed receiving a threat letter which was sent to him through post. The letter, received on January 5, was sent to his office address. Meanwhile, Ganguly has said that he has informed the district Superintendent of Police and the Kolkata Police commissioner about the life threat. On the other hand, Ganguly is yet to decide whether he will attend the scheduled event on January 19 at West Midnapore district.
