Music has always been huge on Twitter. Twitter might not have a separate site or page dedicated to all things musical, but starting this month, live music will have a new home on the popular site. The show is one of two nights the band has scheduled at that location on their Welcome Home Tour. Many concerts are livestreamed to sites like YouTube or dedicated, branded locations online, and it's becoming easier and easier to make these special viewings possible. That plan sounds similar to what Snapchat is doing with its Discover arm, though music is playing a very different role on Twitter, as it always has.
