It is not clear how big of a stake Sony is willing to sell, or what price the Japanese-owned company will seek. The people close to the company cautioned that the process is in the early stages, but is expected to finalize in the next couple of months. Sony is not trying to sell the whole service, the people close to the situation stressed.
