Egyptian authorities on Saturday detained and imprisoned two sons of Egypt’s deposed President Hosni Mubarak in connection with longstanding charges of insider trading. The arrest of Gamal and Alaa Mubarak was a reminder of what many Egyptians regard as an era of corruption and political repression in the final years of Mr. Mubarak’s regime before he was ousted in a popular uprising in 2011.
