Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is set to open his state-of-the-art nightclub in Mombasa. The club, named 'VIP Club Volume', is located in Shanzu, Mombasa county. It is also claimed that Boyz II Men, the four-time Grammy Award-winning American RnB vocal group, will be visiting the club early this year after their performance in Uganda. The trio, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, are best known for emotional ballads and Acappella harmonies. VIP Club Volume is a sister facility to Salama Beach Resort in Kilifi county and Kimerameta Safari Lodge at the peak of Golini Hill in Kwale county.
