The film's synopsis, on the Toronto Film Festival's web site, says Kejriwal shook up the "complacent and corrupt status quo of Indian politics as the head of the Common Man's Party. "'An Insignificant Man' is directed by Ranka who co-wrote 'Ship of Theseus' and by Shukla who featured in it. Watching the raw footage was enlightening even for me," Gandhi said.The Toronto Film Festival is special for Gandhi "because it completely changed the course of" his debut feature 'Ship of Theseus'.
