An Ilorin Magistrates’ Court on Monday ordered the remand of one Sunday Abolaji, 44, in Oke-Kura prison for allegedly killing his father, Ajamu Abolaji. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the accused is facing a one-count of culpable homicide. Kayode said that on February 2, one Oluwarotimi Ajiboye of Idofin Igbana, Kwara, reported the case at the Divisional Police Headquarters at Iloffa that one Ajamu Abolaji, 80, of Odo-Ilowu compound, Idofin Igbana, was missing. “The wife of the deceased, Mrs Deborah Abolaji, 68, suspected the accused, their biological son, to be responsible for the death of the victim. The Magistrate, Bamidele Bukola, ordered the remand of the accused in prison and adjourned the case till February 26 for further mention.
