A COMPANY director has decided to donate part of the profits from the sale of his books about his mother’s struggles with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to the Penang Multiple Sclerosis Support Group Association. In his 100-page book titled ‘My Mom has MS’ which is now on sale at bookstores, Kelvin Ong, 40, shares his mother’s journey with the disease for nine years. Ong said he would donate to the association RM10 for each book sold at RM30 per copy. “There is a serious need to raise awareness of MS as it is a rare disease. “I’m hoping to have my mother’s stories heard to inspire MS sufferers,” he said.
