A four-year-old boy stabbed to death by a woman in east London is understood to be the son of an Irish national with close ties to the south-east. Inside, officers found the boy who had suffered knife injuries and arrested a 41-year-old woman who was known to him. A woman was taken away in handcuffs “covered in blood”, a neighbour has said.
