The Nurses Organisation (NZNO) is refusing to release the full report to more than 51,000 members "for reasons of professional sensitivity and confidentiality". Nurses Organisation delegate and Canterbury nurse Allister Dietschin welcomed the news there was to be a review of the board's performance. Board members had agreed the review would be a chance to counter the misinformation and negative comments. They started a petition calling on the NZNO to release the review and recommendations. These included governance training for board members, improving their financial literacy and establishing a protected disclosures or "whistleblower" policy.
